Smiley cleanup
What a purpose did this have, RCK?
The bounce smiley expressing ("yippieh!") is completely gone, leaving ALL older posts behind with a ':bounce' instead of a smiley. Please think over doing such things off your bat. I think you also have to consider new problems with older threads after your changes. BTW, where these 6 smileys so big that you had to remove them? And besides, why has the *LOL* smiley be changed to "happy"? If you look closely at the smiley, you'll see that it's by no means a smiley for "happy", but a smiley for someone laughing about someone or something. Sorry, but this change was as valuable as cancer. |

You can't be serious. There are smileys that simply aren't MEANT to be used frequently, just because they're only for special cases. Do they require to be deleted because of that? I think not, but your mileage may vary. Well, in my (prolly biased) opinion, you sometimes tend to exaggerate in your attitude towards cleaning and deleting. It isn't "clean" afterwards, it's utterly "hyper-clean". Cleaner than clean. Like the adverts that would assure you this. A kind of "cleaning mania", often seen in the Army, where privates, as it's generally known, are forced by higher-ranking officers to burnish an area until it's almost porous. And there aren't just posts from a thread "deleted", from time to time, some threads were utterly forced to slim so extremely that you could almost see the bones looking through it, to explain the matter figuratively. Even threads can suffer from bulimia sometimes, it looks ... Quote:
You can use : l o l : like the GAEB, for example. [EDIT] This has happened while I was posting this, so thank you! Quote:
