Helter Skelter (1988 version)
It appears there are 2 versions of this, the first in 1988 as reviewed in eg. Your Amiga Oct/Nov 88 issue, the second in 1990 as reviewed in eg. Amiga Format issue #16. The AF review mentions that the first version "originally appeared a couple of years ago" and that the second version is a "revamped and updated" version.
However HOL only mentions the 1990 version, so the info there needs to be corrected. The 1990 version seems to be the only one available at download sites (eg. http://grandis.nu:81/eabsearch/searc...lude=&limit=99). If anyone has the 1988 version and could upload it to the Zone, that would be appreciated. |

Theres a slight chance I might have it in one collection disk which also had, "Chessmaster" "Super Huey", "Platoon" and one more game that i cant remember what it was.
For I remember when i saw in hall of light that the release year being 1990 seemed like "was it really that late?" as i thought i had played it already before that age, but that would explain it. If no one comes up with that version, bump this thread maybe 2 months later and i might be able to check it then, right now my A1200 isnt starting up and it is on my to-do list to fix it, but havent got it done yet. |

I've dropped an ADF in the Zone. It says it's 88 and is certainly different to the one in HOL

Looking at the screengrabs on HOL, I have been playing a totally different version for the past 20 years
I even have an ADF on my Pandora that's got the different enemies. Didn't know there were two versions! D. |
