I'd say yeah it should work with a proper rom. There have been lots of people on EAB over the years with WinUAE issues simply because they were using dodgy/unsupported roms

i just tried using an offical rom (i think) and im still getting the same problem. Is there anything else i could try

Hmm.. Does it work if you configure some Z3 fast ram? (and disable regular fast)

RTG not working without Z3 RAM configured is WinUAE 1.3.2 bug only and will be fixed in next release
