A NES Site I've created, Magazine in the works
I know it's not Amiga related and I'll probably get chased with pitchforks for admitting this but my Amiga is not my number 1 retro system it's the NES
For the past coulpe of months I've been writing reviews, taking photos, compiling a database and coding a website the result of which is here: http://www.nes-bit.com/ All Rab C jokes asides this is the result of a lot of hard work and I'm hoping will help build a community of it's own so please take the time to at least have a look guys Last edited by Lorfarius; 23 August 2011 at 11:55. Hey Lorfarius, the site is pretty awesome! And when it comes to game consoles I'll agree that nothing beats the NES.

I wanted to know why nes sux smelly balls, but your opinions on linux were such ill informed bollocks i didnt even get that far.
It's like you tried a distribution from 1998 and got the hump after 10 minutes. |

Visited this from your vid and it rocks!!!!!
I think many people on this board love all forms of retrogaming - so this definitely deserves a post! Looking through the site, that must have taken ages. I know how draining repetitive jobs can become, but also know it becomes an obsession to get the work finished. I bet you worked your way through some late nights on that one! Well worth it though. That's something you can be proud of for life. |

The hardest part was the actual database. I think I lost about 45 hours of my life (quite a few weekends!) putting that all into the site and making sure it worked. Not to mention the 50 or so reviews I had to write.
Hard to think it's taken me close to 4 months but I'm glad it's all done and I can start to focus on making some proper content for everyone enjoy |

Yeah good to put a face to the name . Sadly I didn't see you again after the Sensi match I was playing (which I won 5-1 , not bad after being knocked out of the earlier tournament in the 1st round!) but what a weekend! Had a fantastic time.
