There wasn't any viable other choice back then for doing artwork. Deluxe Paint was king for a long time. And I did all of my SNES music on Protracker, then entered hex data based on that. Everything musically from that point onwards between me and Tim was written using Bars & Pipes on the Amiga (including Wipeout, Formula 1, Colony Wars, Tenka, Psybadek). On Wipeout 2097 we managed to get the Amiga 1200 a credit in the manual for "computer speech".
