great thing, can we expect a Linux version sometime, since you now use QT, would like to help, but im at a job now that consumes most of my time .

Eventually.

I'm currently working on turning WHDRun into a more general purpose file extractor/program runner. Linux and MacOS X versions of everything are definitely planned although I'm not sure how much I myself can support them.

As mentioned before, no more estimates about when stuff is done. Taking it a step at a time.

have a look at "http://sourceforge.net/projects/jgamebase/" a reimplementation of GameBase in Java.

i rather see it in c++/qt than java if you don't mind :-)

and mage WILL be compilable on macosx and linux, i'll see to it personally (well only for linux actually...)
