Yes, it's from Unreal (and also from Gold of Aztecs, Ork, Death Trap, Dragon's Kingdom)

DemonHellraiser,

The V in IV looks a bit like Y to me.

Why don't you guys just use ripped gfx from the first games and just make a new game in 'Game maker'? Game maker is very easy to program in. I wouldn't want new gfx just new levels and gameplay. ps. i am too busy to make a game.

Agreed. Anyone want to do a v3 for the "V"?

Hmm. I suppose you're all right, it does look like a Y

Although there is no Y in modern day Roman Numerals, there is a Y in Medieval Roman Numerals, this Y=150, so I suppose IY would be 149 This means the game we are actually creating is not SOTB 4, it's SOTB 149

I think I may need to try a re-work on that V

Rust, maybe

Been working on this for a while, tweaking it here and there. Unfortunately the IV was buggered and I need to re-draw them again

Nice one DH Just one thing : Can you 'rough up' the rusty metal surface in the background? I mean a kind of filter that adds some random ligher or darker dots... I hope you know what I mean It looks a tad too sterile.
Besides that top work mate

I tried and it went a bit strange, so I left it the way it was. I have a few more tricks up my sleeve but it all depends on those. I do know what you mean and I'm trying something now, here's hoping

btw. I changed the IV from what looked like a III then a IY to what looks like a IU instead of an IV . Damn hard with that font style to try and successfully create a V that actually looks like a V

Edit: Tell you what guys, I think I'll ask a mod to move my stuff from here and place them into 'Amiga Inspired Wallpapers' instead, I think I've over hijacked S2325's thread. Besides, they're of a size that's OK for wallpapers anyway

btw. http://www.abime.net/?go=download Didn't realise there was already some great Amiga Wallpapers for download. Why aren't some of our superb creations within that download section? Unless they need to be highly awesome for that privilege

I'm surprised Reflections haven't resurrected Beast and turned it into a God of War style game.

It would be nice to have the unique Roger Dean style graphics in such detail and moving fluidly in 3D.

Return of the Beast http://atari.fandal.cz/detail.php?files_id=832 it's another fake, you have even "press start to play" but "game" is unplayable

Frankly?
Reminds me of those patterns found on metal stairs usually found at caravans or public "rolling restrooms" at huge open-airs, as well as mobile gangways on the airport
