A related question... I remember back in t'90s there was some software released that could remove copy protection, i.e. select the game from a list, put the game disc in and it removed the protection. Lockpick V2 was one of them, however there some other ones and I can't remember what they were called.

Can anyone else remember the names of these discs?

Edit: The "Lock" one was called Lockpick V2 and I think another one was called Crack-Aid; isn't there anyone else out there that remembers these? I used them to remove the code protection on B-17 Flying Fortress and FA-18 Interceptor, amongst others.

@merlin

There was a crack tool Maverick.
For the PC there was Crock2

I also got hold of a Lucas code generator (written in VB, running on PC). Very cool stuff.
It's in french but you can manage. Attached here:

If anyone has any versions of Lockpick, Maverick or Crack-Aid, would they be so kind as to put them in the Zone?

Thanks

You can find Lockpick and Maverick on the file server in the folder 'TOSEC/Applications/[ADF]' Merlin
