For amiga 10-15 euro is reasonable for a digital download, higher than that is in the AAA PC market from legit key sites.
I'm all for rewarding devs but the Amiga market is small so expectations on profit should be set accordingly, I. E. There won't be much as such I feel the best games will come from those with passion.

When I saw the Reshoot price I thought hmmm that or Ace Combat 7, erm.

Totally agree and what I said here:

We're not talking new PC / PS4 / Xbox One quality games here... and it's really just a slightly more polished version of the unreleased 1992 game.

I hope the digital download will not be as extortionate; otherwise I'll definitely not bother.
The 9 x games that I listed in this post are of the same thinking and reasonably priced

ROFL

I thought Richard must have successfully ported the Arcade game Raiden to the Amiga with 100% accuracy; given those prices

It sounds very strange to review your own game?? I understand if you have a magazine and also are a developer that a game can come in the mag. but I would not review it myself.<br />

PD quality is not right at all! Reshoot R is very good quality. Better than most space shooters every done on Amiga.

Agree completely, if a Dev needs cash for an amiga game my preference would be to do a Kickstarter or similar so enthusiasts can back it and additional sales are icing on the cake

That is also a way to do it but what do you know of the quality of a kickstarter project? If it is a port then I have no problem with it but a original game?

Works fine here, but can see that you are really struggling from all your deleted posts in this thread (which BTW, myself and BippyM can still see as we are GMods).

Man, they didn't rate Starquake very highly did they?

I'd argue that the music in Starquake is better than quite a few of those releases, but meh, its clear they didn't hear it all that much is self evident.

Well, it's clear that the person reviewing all games in Amiga Joker <cough; Richard> had an agenda to push his game to the top of the list and knock any competition / better games down

The bias is sooooo obvious; and he shouldn't have been allowed to review his own / other games... there's a quality magazine right there

I mean; I can't believe the poor scores for many games, especially Worthy which blows Reshoot R out of the water

Usually Kickstarter has a video demo( quite sure it's in the rules). I don't think it matters if it's an original game or not potential backers would decide and if the game isint successful in Kickstarter it means the originator needs to change their game.

At least in that form potential backers if they love the idea can make sure it happens, those with minor interest should be able to pickup the game at a reasonable price and as such everyone is happy, and if the programmer isint happy with the uptake they can cancel

As Patreons or Kickstarters are like shareholders, don't they have some things to say about the public price or is it only publisher who decide this ??

That is a very different thing. As Patreons you don't own anything. You just support.

Don't know about patrons but Kickstarters have no say they're investing in a product happening that's all.

e. g. I kickstarted the Oculus rift, soon after Kickstarters rewards were received by over 7000 of us they got bought by Facebook for a few billion, they did send us free consumer version VR headsets though which was nice( they didn't have to do that)
