I am unsure. When the tracks data is loaded, let us say an IFF 8SVX sample that plays for maxtime duration, I want the tracks to show the whole time (visible_time = maxtime). When I resize the window smaller, the zoom should stay the same, but now a part of the sample should be hidden. When I resize the window bigger, then that hidden part should appear again. And in addition I would like to have two functions: 1. A button to fit the whole sample playing_time into the visible area by applying visible_time = max_time. and 2., a zoom slider that shows everything from 0% to 200% or more, where 100% should always mean that the whole sample is visible.
How to perform these in maths? ps: the scroller by itself already works. it produces directly the values 0 to 200 and sends them to the tracks. However I yet do not know what the tracks should do with that value. Last edited by AGS; 10 March 2015 at 11:27. |

To make it clear, here is another picture. When I resize the window bigger or smaller I would like to see more or less of the tracks content, time_visible and "visible %" then should be recalculated to the amount of what is then visible. to achieve this the hidden content width must stay the same I guess unless the window is not made bigger than the hidden content size? |
