DIR pause with multiple pages

I used dir /p on my PC DOS to pause the dir listings when it reached over one page. It required me to press a key for the directory to continue which allowed me to look at all the files instead of scrolling to the end of the directory listing.

Is there an option for AmigaOS dir?
Thanks!

Dir has the "i" option for interactive, but it's not quite what you ask. Pressing any key should pause the listing (backspace resumes), but it may not be easy to control exactly if your system can print the list quickly. I think the easiest solution with default commands is to dir/list into a file in Ram Disk (e.g. dir > RAM:listing), then use more/ed/multiview to browse the contents of the file.

If you have set up the Pipe command properly, you can use

dir | more

http://aminet.net/package/util/shell/Pipe-1.5

With KingCON you get a scroll bar on the CLI window allowing you to browse through the listing.
