Hi,

can anyone tell me pls how to change that menu on desktop, under the clock?

I am using aga-version. I´ve already downloaded the tool ´buttonmenu´ from Aminet, but where can I find the depending datafile? Or is there another way to change it? In ´programs/system/ I found only submenu related datafiles...Isn´t there a readme anywhere?

I installed AmigaSYS4-AGA in WinUAE because I want to prepare him for my real Amiga 1200 2+8 Mb with WB3.0, PAL 640x256/64, default icons, english language.
Default AmigaSYS4-AGA instalation works fine, but refuse to install upgrade R1.3
After starting the installer, everything is ok until section System Language Update.
After that, installer continues to update files for a short time and then WinUAE crashed with software failure error.

Any clue?

Nobody an idea?

Which kind of ´wb-´replacement´´ do you all here use? Plain wb 3.*? Is there a better one than Amigasys (for real hardware)?

Also my email to amigasys-email was not answered until today...is it ´dead´?

A game that was playing in Amiga Forever under AmigaSYS emulation changed the settings and complete screwed my screen resolution and mode.

TROUBLE WITH AmigaSYS in Amiga Forever:

I now have the old Black & Blue Workbench, but even after changing the screen mode to NTSC hires, the look is not the same I had before; modern icons and look.

Is there anyway to go back to the modern, hi-res look?

Thanks in advance for any help.

AmigaSYS under emulation generally uses UAEgfx. For nice hi res modes.
Under screenmode, do you have lots of UAEgfx resolutions?

Need more information to be honest. Is the config running the correct HDF?
You need to check the config file. I cant see how a game changed the settings to that extent. Did it overwrite the startup-sequence?

Has Dary given up on the AmigaSYS project, as there's been no progress updates neither on the website nor on this forum

Thanks FOL, as it'd be a shame (my POV) if he dropped it. It's a good package for those who are useless at setting up an emulated Amiga (like me...lol)

Aye, AmigaSYS is my favorite ready to run preinstalled Amiga OS.
Hopefully its just time, he has little of. As money costs hopefully should'nt be a problem with me hosting AmigaSYS site for free.

AmigaSYS latest.....

Does anyone have any news about what's happening with the development of this? I happen to like this preinstall package and was waiting for the latest upgrade but it seems to have either stalled or been given up on completely. Either way it's a real shame, just hope I'm wrong. So if anyone can shed any light I'd be grateful.
