Uk demo party sept 9-11 sunrise
Hey guys
It's been confirmed, there will be a demo party in the uk this year. Details in the link below. I'd like to see a significant uk amiga scene presence there so you all need to get coding, composing and drawing!!! http://www.sunrisedemoparty.co.uk/ |

That sounds pretty awesome. I am checking if I am able to book that weekend off from work now. Would be awesome to attend a demo party.

I didn't know such parties existed! This is very exciting. I would very much like to attend, funds permitting. It is all things Amiga at this party? I do believe I am salivating.

It's an all formats party, but the amiga comes under the old school categories.

I'm gonna try and attend - already stuck my name down on the site registration.
Got an idea for a little demo so I'll get coding and see how I get on. |

trust me it sucks. but I work for the NHS so you have to book time off well in advance. Also it just depends on what staffing levels are like on a ward level. Obviously the quota for the amount of people on leave is hit for that month.
And trust me I am contemplating the sickie lol |

I might be able to go. I put in another request and it's not instantly denied this time. So fingers, toes and what ever I can cross is now crossed in hopes i get time off.

I was seriously considering going, but I booked train tickets for this years LCP instead. Maybe next year, I've never attended a U.K. party before. Would be really nice.

I know this might sound daft, never been to a demo party before . But will there be a gaming section at this party?

I was wondering, have you ever had guest speakers at these kinds of things?
I am lucky to be in contact with Dan Malone who recently mentioned in a reply back to me that he had done talks at previous gatherings, where he would talk about his career and experiences etc, would this kind of thing go down well at this kind of gathering? I have mentioned this gathering to him and he seems interested... Last edited by CaptainNow; 20 July 2011 at 12:05. |

At the bigger events they tend to have seminars. Dotwaffle might be interested in doing this, hit the contact us button on the site.
