I get a 403 Forbidden error from the download link, but I could download the file by clicking to it from the main page of the site.

Maybe this direct link is working: http://thegamearchives.net/?val=0_2_..._43386_0_0_0_0

edit: I did a loose translation of this instructions screen.

Instructions

Task: Fill 75% of the area!
Avoid touching the balls on or next to the areas. There's a bonus for seperating balls from another and for higher percentages than 75!
Joystick in Port 2.
The fire button changes the direction of the balls once per screen/level. (One) Bonus life for every completed screen/level.

btw: What level are we using?

Thanks! Looks like I can't link to it directly. No matter, will replace it with the link you've posted.

Thanks for the translation!

Good spot with the level. The main difference seems to be the speed which it runs at. I would say just stick to the default (level 2).

FYI: Pressing Escape on the title screen exits the game to WB/DOS, but pressing Escape during a game does nothing until you return to the title screen when it exits the game!!

Here's my best so far:

24,426

Edit: Psst... the 'Live League Ladder' link in first post goes to the Lemon Amiga's Bally 2 thread

Great Score Lonewolf!

Tip: You can move the controller up and down on the title screen to scroll back to the high scores at any point.

LinesMachine and lifeschool, just a 'slight' improvement on my previous score

(and if I had managed that extra 1%, I have no doubt it would have been 70,000+)

I see what you mean!

What stage did you make it to?

Not sure - it should really say what level it was. I think I had 8 or 9 bouncing balls/pixels in the central (black) area.

A slight change in my strategy meant I was scoring more per level and was less at risk from the bouncing balls/pixels in the black area. I made it to level 12 (12 bouncing balls/pixels in the black area).

Quick score register.
I'm still perplexed as to how this bollocks game got voted in.. perhaps due to the incredibly appealing screenshot
