CF Card or Adapter Problem

I have a 4GB CF Card in my Amiga(I couldn't find answer to this when looking) and I have formated it once in winUAE and then in the Amiga,Workbeach work fine in it but when I load a WHDLoad game (Brat,Blood Money) I get grathics probems and with brat the game is all messed up and you here the music and thats it..

The games work fine in WinUAE on the cf card and from my real HD but not with the CF card in the Amiga.

I formated it with Workbeach FFS system would that be it or is it the maxtransfer setting..this is doing my head in..

Please if anyone could help..I return the favor one day..

EDIT :
It was the maxtransfer had to change it to 0x1FE00,more info here http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=64949

Sorted

Dam I didn't know if you didn't change the maxtransfer code to 0x1FE00 it would do that..

Well I am new to using a CF card as a hard drive..

This should be a sticky so newcomers can find the code quickly..

Before you install too many things in that CF change the File System; Smart File System or better PFS3. I answered your question in the other thread about it:

Spanner, have you been at the magic juice again?

You've asked the question before AND been told the answer by several helpful people. You just didnt take note. No stickies are needed. Just less juice!!

Come on man, you know a lot, but I like to help Spanner, he's my mate, and thanks him I believe I've made now a good and short guide to install PFS3 http://eab.abime.net/showpost.php?p=831346&postcount=14.

And he has helped me with things of what I didn't have an idea. Just try to make a 32bit conversion of CommodoreOS or to have your own Radio station or to make an slave from a game.
Even more, his questions make me search and learn a lot, so just stop it, please.

Are smileys beyond your comprehension? I really don't care now if he asks a question two or three times or also on Amibay ... I just thought it quite funny since I recalled him being told the answer earlier. Since he says he uses the juice I just thought maybe he'd done again. Maybe if you removed your head from your posterior you'd see the funny side

I'm cool with Spanner, really...

Oh and BTW nice guide.. I bookmark useful posts like that all the time.. And just bookmarked that one!

Glad you like the guide. In fact now I've printed it for myself...

There are lots of good guides here and Amibay and well worth bookmarking as the Wiki isn't really that great as a source of info. I've seen some forums where posts are stickied or moved to "Golden threads" sections where all informative posts are collected.

Until we have some system like that I just bookmark all the useful ones.

Are you using now the A1200 or the "A1700"? If it's the last, how are you making it?
