UAE4ALL2 hdf

Good Afternoon,

I've been trying to use UAE4ALL2 with limited success over the last couple of days. I've setup a hdf in Amiga Forever 2016 and transfered the file to my minix x8h plus with a directory called programs. I got a DH0 error when I loaded it so decided to boot the A1200 setup with the WB Install 3.1 disk in UAE4ALL2 and formatted the DH0 installing a fresh Workbench 3.1 which was successfull. Then following the Green Amiga Alien Guide I got to chapter 4 installing lha.run and installer34-3 and ran into some problems with lha.

When I typed "Programs:lha.run Ram:" i got an error message saying that lha was corrupt and could not be run.

Is this an error with file as it works when I run it with Winuae or is it a limitation of UAE4ALL2, or the config I have created in UAE4ALL2?

Also, could someone please give me some help on how to create a hdf file for UAE4ALL2 in Winuae as I cant find any guides on this.

The first solution is:
1) Create hardfile via winuae (but do not format via winuae)
2) copy hardfile to android device and format it via uae4all2
3) If you want, you can copy back formatted hardfile to pc.

another solution
1) Create hardfile via uae4arm (direct on android device)
2) Probably you can format it also via uae4arm
if uae4all2 not detected this hardfile then try re-format it via uae4all2

Formatted hardfile via uae4all2 or uae4arm will work also with winuae

uae4all2 and uae4arm not support hardfile formatted with RDB (It one of reason why it could not work after format via winuae)

Thanks for your reply. I will give it a try tomorrow. Will this sort the corruption issue with lha.run?
