I tried to play Ishar 1 (non-AGA version) and once disk b is loaded it crashes for me with a 'not enough memory' error.
Does this happen to anyone else, or did I mess up the conf files? Update: AGA versions runs wonderfully Last edited by plutonick; 21 March 2018 at 18:34. |

All games have been tested as much as possible and are usually verified files / sets... Can you explain what sort of things you have been doing with the configuration files? You should only really change aesthetic things like: ... Scanlines on / off. ... LEDs on / off. ... Display settings; if you must but you shouldn't need to. |

Alrighty, home now so just tested "Ishar - Legend of the Fortress" ...after inserting "Disk B" the game loaded without issue and am playing; I even set "Floppy Drive Emulation Speed" --> "800%": I take it you still have the original downloaded files? Just open "WinUAE.part1.exe" with WinRAR and extract the original configuration file out Attached anyway just in case. |

I just tried again and it worked. That's weird. I guess I might have presset a wrong combination of "end"+number. It was my first time experimenting with disk-swapping, so I might have confused the emulator with repeated disk-swapping
edit: wonderful game btw! Last edited by plutonick; 22 March 2018 at 09:06. |

Cool, no problem. Just glad all is working for you as intended
Disk swapping via shortcut keys; definitely the way forward ...in fact, anyone using WinUAE / this collection should try to learn most of these as it makes life so much easier: Important Keys |

Update Pack #3 is now complete which contains the following:
30 new game additions: Code:
ADS - Advanced Destroyer Simulator Bob's Garden Cyber World Dugger Grid Runner Insanity Fight International 3D Tennis International Championship Wrestling International Ice Hockey International Open Golf Championship [AGA] Interphase Kangy Legend of the Sword Legion Llamatron - 2112 Mad Professor Mariarti Maniax Merv the Merciless Mindbender Motorbike Madness Oblivion Oktagon Pandora Quartz Rebellion Reflexivity - Pinball Challenge Tetrys 1995 [AGA] The Man from the Council World Cup Soccer - Italia '90 World Trophy Soccer [Arcadia] Over the past 2+ years I thought my collection was virtually done.... time and time again he's given me new suggestions that needed to be investigated / then added (and trust me, I've been through HOL numerous times) Secondly, I hate having to do this, if you get these update pack URLs from me it means that I trust you... but anyway, the "sniffer" protocol has been implemented again Finally, with these 3 x update packs, 100 new games have now been added since base release; bringing the total to 2400 games Last edited by DamienD; 23 March 2018 at 09:25. |

Yeah man, thanks for this - I couldn't respond in private because as usual, your inbox is full - - I just got around to updating packs 1 and 2 a few days ago - You're cranking these updates out faster than I can play!

Oh NICE. Just went through the list (and thanks Damien for adding in two of my suggestions) but there's some arcade clones in this pack. Mr. Do, Dig Dug, Defender, Robotron. Really good stuff.

...it never stops for me, even if people *these days* don't see *regular* updates; there's always something going on behind the scenes
Just ask ransom1122; I'm sure he was getting very bored of my daily / weekly tweaks and updates over the past 2+ years A project is never finished (hey Toni?); just improved upon as time progresses... Thanks my friend; yup it's been my biggest emulation project by a long stretch... and the most difficult. As mentioned in the thread; I've had to teach myself many new skills in order to achieve what you see today. I only ever had an A500 growing up and this was purely for gaming... In contrast; my MAME collection is easy to maintain and updated every month after a new release |
