Advantage tennis

Im having trouble getting this working. The copy I have gets past the NEMESIS crack screen and then the screen just stays black. Does anybody have a working version they can put in the zone for me? or a config they can recommend?

I remember I had trouble running this game on my original A500. The same symptoms you descibe appear when I boot up the game with 1 Mb of memory. Only when I switch off the extra memory (having only 512 Kb left) the game runs fine.
Try running the game in any emulator with Kickstart 1.3 and 512 Kb memory. Maybe it will work.

Just tried that idea and still no luck

Its strange because I downloaded an uncracked version of the game and it loaded fine

Obviously though I couldnt play it cos the manual protection was still in place.

Bobic strikes again:

works indeed a treat with WinUAE 0.8.16.
Every version starting from 0.8.17* refuses to load past track #44.
I upped 0.8.16 R4 *standalone* in the zone to avoid ruining your installation of a recent version! Just put this binary in the WinUAE folder - it's already renamed to something apart from WinUAE.exe, so you can use your current configs with it.

Advantage Tennis does not like too fast floppy speed. (UAE just dumps floppy data to memory when Kickstart does the loading because most users want fast loading and system friendly programs don't care *)

I think it is time to put much requested floppy speed slider back...

Maybe you should indeed make a switch so the user can choose between SPEED and COMPATIBLE Mode
