Fighter Bomber credits screen original source

http://hol.abime.net/525 I'm searching for original music from Fighter Bomber when you see plane and animated small people. Music was made from sample loops but which band made it?

The guys at Vektor Grafix made it themselves.

Mind if I ask how you know that Galahad? For obvious reasons, I can't imagine too many people in the software industry would have enjoyed a chat with you :P

Other than that some good contacts might be helpful 'for obvious reasons' sometimes aswell...

I do remember Galahad mentioning he'd worked on Premier Manager 3 Deluxe actually, never even heard of the Speris Legacy though, I'll have to check it out.

I know the Vektor Grafix guys did it themselves, because a guy called Terry Spencer who worked on Fighter Bomber also did the PC version of Premier Manager 3 Deluxe for Gremlin, and I did the Amiga version.

I happened to have my single disk AGA fixed version of Fighter Bomber on my harddrive which Terry saw, and he explained about the music.

Interesting... In your opinion, which version turned out better? And would you mind if I ask how you got the gig?

PC version was slightly better as it could read the old format files from PM3 and convert them on the fly to the newer PM3 Deluxe format which was structured slightly differently (changes in amount of teams in different divisions).

I got the gig because Binary Emotions the dev group I worked for thought it would be a good idea to tout for business with me AGA fixing software companies back catalogues for budget re-release.

Gremlin said "no" but would we like to do the Amiga version of PM3 Deluxe as the main coder responsible for the Amiga and Megadrive version decided to quit and walk away from the project completely.

So, I got the gig.

In the end I was the only one capable of figuring out the disk format and building suitable tools to be able to read and write to it, because the guy who walked off the project took all the disk authoring tools away, rewriting the disk system and hard drive installer wasn't practical as most of the playtesting was devoted just to eliminating the bugs from the game.

The final master disks were done on my A1200 using Blackhawks Action Replay IV to write down the final images.

I think we need a "History of Galahad and the man" rant.
