I've just spent some time (far too long) chopping this thread up in to individual threads for each game/topic so please create a new thread for any game you are having errors with (from my packs).

If you notice any quotes or posts in any of the newly created threads that seem out of place or don't make sense then please let me know!

I trimmed quite a lot of crap from the thread(s) so I do appologise if some of your posts have vanished

KG, i have personaly a problem with King quest 6 in french, it crashes on my A1230 everytime i'm going to the oracle.....

You can add it to the error request please ?

PS : and maybe check it in english and german version ?

You need to give more info than that, what is the error? What is the oracle (and how do I get to it/her/him)?

i use A1230@50mhz/32mb/KS 3.1

In KQ6, the oracle is the winged woman you meet just after freeing Lady celeste
from the minotaure in the game.

Once i get past the winged king and his spouse, blam, crash to workbench with this error :

Exception "Access Fault" ($B008) PC = $79EE602A (Expmem $5402A) Instruction stream fault on $50E0708.

You can add indiana jones 4 Adventure FOA, at least for the french version.
I get on this one just when i arrive with sophia in front of the barnett college
to find plato's lost dialogue :

Exception "privilege violation" ($20) at $79EB48F6 (Expmem $8F6)

These 2 errors happens in a constant manner. Thanks KG ^^

You got save files for these?

EDIT: Are you using your own installed versions of the versions from my packs? If they are your own versions can you please download mine and test them instead. Ta!

At least the German version of Indy IV works fine. Solved it 3 years ago.

i am using an installed version from my original disks.

To get in the details, i have done some tests. Yes i have the saves and you will get them, just let me up them in da zone.

The saves are ok since i have run the game on my A500+ with 2mb of RAM and it goes past the oracle with no problem. I have been able to finish the game with no problem. There is just this feckin' access fault' which won't let me go through the story on my A1230 expanded.....

I download right away your version KG since it's from the SPS disks files. My version is the regular one...

AFTER TESTING your version, the same message and crash happen. I zone the save files.

yes we need to know what is the whdload dev config JOTD has. He told me he doesn't have any problem on his configuration for KQ6 and indy4.

If he uses a 060 then it could be the problem actually maybe ? i use a 030 machine.

kg can you test KQ6 french from your pack with my saves on your configuration (clic on 'relancer', then choose 'catacombes' in the list).

And say if you encounter the same error.
