The amiga hdd installer
hey everyone can anyone point me in the right direction for setting up/using the official wb hdd installer that I can use in the installation of my new game Black Dawn rebirth instead of writing my own? Cant find any info on using it

I think the format (it's actually a Lisp dialect) must originally have been documented either in Commodore's AmigaMail or in the proceedings of one of the later DevCons. You'll find the docs on the Amiga developer CDs. |

Installers are generally used for apps which need files copied to various locations.
Why would a game have any need for one? Surely it'd just be copying a directory from one place to another, a task that could be easily achieved with one command. |
