Interesting UAE variant, I suppose it's for the Playstation Portable only as Sony saw fit to disable any linux support on the PS3...

Exactly, my bad

Maybe if I ever get one of these devices, but I doubt it only due to the cost involved, but didn't Sony drop the pricing on it after releasing their newer model ???

Pspuae V0.80 Beta 13

Hi,

Did'nt see the point in starting a new topic.
Just wanted to mention I have decided to release PSPUAE V0.80 BETA 13.

More as an Easter gift.
After playing it alot last week, I can actually say its much faster than previous releases.

Your problem looks like a bug in BETA 3. BETA 13 doesnt have this issue.

Nope, its not compiled as a PRX. So signing wont work.

Next version will. Apparently you can use the HalfByte Loader (which is signed) to temp hack PSP. Once you turn PSP off, it goes back to normal unhacked mode.

Sony has'nt patched signed stuff yet, not even in 6.38.
After the recent PSN attacks, I doubt sony are interested in that at the moment.

Latest version of HBL for 6.37 (which works on 6.38) can be found here.
Half Byte Loader R113
Select HBL Rev 113

To use it, follow the included guide.
Once you activate it, you can browse to the game folder and homebrew stuff should work fine.

After loading HBL?

I havent tried it myself, dont need HBL anymore.
I could update my original PSP to test, but that will take some time.

It's not PSPUAE but HBL itself, black screen and after a few seconds switches off, never get the option to run any homebrew. I copied the files into the right places. It may be that my firmware is too old, it's on 3.71.

although HBL was supposed to work on "any PSP up to firmware 6.37"

Ah, alot changed in the firmware around 5.xx to 6.xx.
So I would'nt expect it to work on such a low firmware.

What about an older solution, maybe GTA:LCS eloader?
Or maybe tiff loader. Trying to remember off the top of my head here, .

Hello,

You can send it to me too. I have PSP 1004, 2004 and N1004 (this is PSP Go) with CFW.

I have 5.00 M33 as well as 6,20 TN on the Go.

Would be interested in the test or test version.

thanks,
gehtjanx
