Rastan for the Amiga... released? Take a look.
Ok, I found this in a catalogue sponsored by Commodore. ("Commodore Amiga Buyer's Guide to software and accessories, Volume 5 (Published under the auspicies of Commodore Magazine Inc.)", to be precise.)What do you think?

Yeah, I think I remember a debate about the existance of this on the Amiga on that other message board. I held on perhaps the longest that it existed IIRC, but I think I finally caved and assumed the project cancelled. This would be a great find, though. Clearly it was at least in development. If it exists, it's probably a US version (or ST shovelware).

Sure, that was released. I have the cracks and the original. An abomination.

No, those never made it to the Amiga. As for which is worse between Renegade and Street Fighter, I will have to go with Renegade. The actual games are both abysmal, but Renegade (at least my US original) has such a nasty loader that is slow and cumbersome, plus very damaging to the drive due to the noisy, rude disk-stepping (I assume due to the copy protection). I bought this game from Software Etc. back in the day and returned it the next day! The copy I have now I paid .50 for (the box is at least worth that!)

You ever notice how a lot of the cover/box art will have this really small type face that says: "Screenshots from Arcade Version." and you find the graphics and/or the soundtrack is abyssmal

http://hol.abime.net/224/miscshot On miscshot 5 & 6 it's announced with a release date for Amiga and ST. I'll ask Cody to have another look for AGTW |

Rastan was one the best games I ever played. Too bad it didn't seen amiga conversion, instead we have obscure Apple IIGS version. That version (which is quite strange) wasn't mentioned on advert.

whoa! is so incomplete and blocky that seems IMO be more beneficial to rewrite it from scratch!

I always believed the Amiga could of had an Arcade perfect version of Rastan. Sadly it was never meant to be.
Id love to hear a Paula version of the soundtrack |

rastan is nothing spectacular. I guess the amiga can flawlessly have a conversion of this game.

One of the first Spectrum games I bought, funnily enough. A shame there was no 16-bit version, although if we're honest most great arcade games of that era had awful Amiga version if anything.
