The reason is that vBulletin doesn't put exact matches first in the results which is a bit odd, perhaps a bug. You can try with 'John' or 'Ian' here and set "Number of users per-page" to "1". http://eab.abime.net/memberlist.php?do=search ...or use these direct links to test: http://eab.abime.net/memberlist.php?...ausername=John http://eab.abime.net/memberlist.php?...&ausername=Ian Anyway, I can work around it, will release new version shortly. EDIT: I have updated the previous release post with eab_post_count.py v1.15. Code:
eab_post_count.py v1.15 by modrobert in 2017 Function: Returns the number of posts for a given EAB forum user. Syntax : eab_post_count.py -u <username> [-i] [-l YYYY-MM-DD] Options : -h this help text. : -i ignore case sensivity in user name. -l last post after YYYY-MM-DD required. -u followed by user name. Result : 0 = user found, 1 = user not found, 2 = EAB down, 3 = other fail. Changelog v1.15: * Worked around vBulletin failing to give exact user name match first when "Number of users per-page" is set to "1". Last edited by modrobert; 08 November 2017 at 17:19. Reason: Released v1.15. |

Uhm, sorry I don't understand that answer. Should I take that, as you don't want your collection to be added to tosec?
@Turran great work :-D and whoops.. I see I'm nr 1 downloader :-( well some of the stuff will and have been added to tosec, slowly getting there :-D Last edited by tomse; 09 November 2017 at 23:47. |

Hi, I noticed that timestamps on most files and folders have gone missing sometime in the last few months (see screenshot) - is it possible to get them back?
I'm using filezilla with the 'preserve timestamps on transferred files' option. Filezilla can tell which files have been updated using the server timestamps, and so can download only new or updated files in a queue. This saves a lot of time and bandwidth when updating my folders! But now the timestamps have gone all the files on the FTP appear different to filezilla, so it is attempting to download them all again. I don't want to use your bandwidth unnecessarily, so is it possible to have the file timestamps back? |

No, no way to get them back. Sounds like you have the whole FTP mirrored. Any particular reason?
The filelist.txt file in the root contains all files so you can use that to find new files. Or this: https://grandis.nu:444/eabsearch/listlastuploads.php Last edited by Turran; 11 November 2017 at 06:14. |

Hi, no not the whole FTP, quite the opposite. My bandwidth is metered, so I get updates to a couple of folders in coverdisks and a couple of folders in Retroplay's uploads. So after the initial few gb download typically I was using a few megabytes every month.
Thanks for checking, I forgot about filelist.txt and the new uploads page, I'll try doing something with that! Edit: I know about the filesize comparison, but that may not be reliable if lha files are updated by Retroplay, which they sometimes are. |

The filelist.txt is useful but at 85mb just parsing that alone would probably use more bandwidth than I was using before!
Did you change ftp server software or do something unusual to the filesystem? That's none of my business really, I just wondered if the file timestamps are likely to change again. |

I'll see to making filelist.txt a zip file instead. Edit: Now compressing filelist.txt to filelist.zip instead. 86% reduction =) Quote:

Just for curiosity, how often is the mirror on Google Drive synced with the FTP content?
Thanks! Last edited by guidobartoli80; 13 November 2017 at 14:40. |
