Xydonia- Retro shmup- kickstarter.

There is a pretty cool looking 90's style shmup on kickstarter right now-
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects...red-retro-shmu

It looks good to me and I know I'd play the shit out of it- I'll back it later in the week.
I hope its funded.

Thanks for that, I pledged, this looks like a lot of fun and there's a mention on the FAQ about maybe porting this to a retro system, so fingers crossed that it gets funded!!

Sure, no problem, Yeah dreamcast was mentioned at one point but its not part of the campaign- I'd buy it for DC.

I don't know, I like the graphics and music but for some reason it feels lifeless.
I have a hard time figuring out why it does not appeal to me but there is something missing...

Seems the devs just ran away with the money and never finished this project- the devs stony silence speaks volumes.

I remember it, it wasn't finished year ago, I wonder why? They rise bit more money than their goal was, last update was 3 years ago, and there is no information why they stop working on it.
Should kickstarter give back money to people than? There should be some kind of rule that projects need to be updated on regular period of time and when authors fail to explain why there is no update than project is dead and people who support it get refund.
