SkinnableClock 68k

Hi:
I want to know if it's possible to run the SkinnableClock version for 68k without Rtg. I think it's possible, but I must be losing something.

This is SkinnableClock68k: http://www.bboah-works.de/phpbb33/do...7620bef130e4c0

The thing is that I've could install it in my Amikit in WinUAE, and I like it:

Btw thanks, James.

But I've been trying to use it in my Cf under WinUAE (my plan is to use it in a real Amiga) and it tells "Cannot open Cybergraphics.library".

I've searched in Amikit and I don't have Cybergraphics.library anywhere in it. I've used the cgxsystem.library from Amigakit but nothing. I've installed AfA_OS too, but I have the same message.

Any idea? Or "you can't without Rtg" advice?. Well, anyway I could in WinUAE as I'm doing it with Amikit...

That's an update, but I already have the original Cd of CybergrapX.

But doesn't it need Rtg to work? Edit: Yes, it needs a Graphic board to work. I think all I need has to be inside Amikit anyway.

as far as i seen this pack consists in an update of grafics drivers for known amiga accelerators ,although this skin could be only used with one of those refered accel cards

My question is easy: Can you simulate a Graphic Card in WinUAE? (I'm bad with it). If so, Amikit must use it. If you can't, then you can use the Clock in a miggy without it..

Yeah, Amikit uses the RTG capabilities of WinUAE.

i am a kind of noob in this but i think this could be used in a mediator pci amiga since for what i read is a cybergrafics.library so it is refered to a grafic card library if i am not wrong

Ah, ok. Btw I've just opened Amikit and just changed the Hardrive from Amikit to my Cf, and with the same WinUAE configuration it tells it doesn't find Cybergraphics.library

Do you think I need rtg for SkinnableClock68k? I don't find any info about it.

for what i have read aros orerating system has this library included on it but i think in my low knowledge opinion is what you need is to copy the library´s on the pack to the corrected drawers were the skinable clock is looking for is ,of course your cf card doesn´t have the drawer with the library´s get it?

yes i think you need a mediator pci the emu is one thing on real amiga if don´t have hardware simply don´t work

maybe amiga os 4.1 has it

I don't have an idea. Googling (http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/afb/message/64550) I found that there's no cybergraphics.library anywhere. That's why I coudn't find it in Amikit, it must take it from cgxsystem.library , but I've tried changing it too.

And I've found Cybergraphics.library for example here: http://amiga.resource.cx/exp/cybervision64

I've tried with the version Cybergraphics64-218 in dms converted to hdf, but it didn't work.

Unless you have a graphics card and the RTG drivers installed, Workbench won't recognize RTG. On Amikit Workbench uses the RTG emulation of WinUAE and uses the Picasso 96 drivers to enable the emulated graphics card. On a A1200 the only way to get RTG graphics is with a mediator and graphics card fitted!

If it needs it that's ok, that's all I want to know. Anyway, with the same configuration of WinUAE I should be able to run it with the right files, just as I'm doing in Amikit, shoudn't I?

If I need it I could try it with a BVision in another miggy, but it should run first in WinUAE.

Ok, that's it. Thanks.
Perhaps I will try with the BVision, but not by now. Thanks all anyway, and at least now you can use it in your Amikit or WinUAE Workbench.

To attempt to run CGX software on AGA you will need CyberGraphX V3 (or the CD like Retrofan ) available here:

http://phase5.a1k.org/index.php?cgx

Plus the AGA monitor driver here:

http://aminet.net/package/driver/video/CGX-AGA

SkinnableClock also requires the pngalpha.library:

http://aminet.net/package/util/libs/pngalpha_lib

Doubt this will work though...

For anyone who has got SkinnableClock running, also make sure to get the extra skins here:

http://os4depot.net/share/graphics/t...ddonclocks.lha

Just a last question:

Would it be possible to use it with the Picasso drivers if they work with the Indi MKII? And BTW, are there news about if it's possible to have them like in the A600 with the IndiECS? http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?...ight=picasso96
