Then the .info is missing too, can you verify ?
Thank you for taking the time to do the list Edit: if you take those games in the KG collection, TL should add them to the list. Last edited by gibs; 29 August 2012 at 22:39. |

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amiga_Fast_File_System
DOS\6: "Long Filename" (OFS-LNFS). This allowed files to have a longer filename (up to 107 characters) than the usual Amiga limit, which was 30 characters. Unfortunately I can check only 30 chars but if you have the .info of the game, I can reach it 25+5 (.info=5 chars) and the game will be added. Last edited by gibs; 29 August 2012 at 23:51. |

@gibs
I nailed it again, I think The problematic slaves are detected correctly if you are using a 2-level structure, and fails if you are using single-level structures. I guess your routine is different between the two? Anyway, this information should be what you need to understand why some of us have problems. @all Can the people who have reported missing slaves confirm that they are running 1-level structures? Just to explain what this actually means, here is an example: 1-level structure: demos:9Fingers 2-level structure: demos:0_9/9Fingers |

Ok, putting everything back in folders a-z (just like I had it before I started messing with TL) does work. All the games which where missing (see previous post) are detected now.
100% of my games and demos are detected, not bad |

Could you please send me a message with your email address. I've got a message I want to send to you privately, but your message box on EAB is full. |

Beta58:
I just updated my demos and this version finds all 371 of them There is a newly discovered problem, though, but it should be easy to fix. It seems like Tiny Launcher gives .exe priority over .info or even .slave. This gives me a problem with launching e.g. the demo Love, as it has Love.exe, Live.info and Love.Slave in the directory. As far as I can see, it just tries to launch Love.exe, as no tooltypes are detected and it doesn't look like it is running WHDLoad either. Shouldn't the logical order of priority be info, slave, exe? |

I know about this there are a lot of demos like that...
Since the begining the priority is : TL/EXE/SLAVES So if a script is detected it is executed before the slave. I don't remember why I put EXE before Slaves. I can swap the EXE and Slaves now if there aren't any problems. EDIT: Sorry the priority wasn't like that since the begining, it was an issue in the new routine It's fixed in this version : https://dl.dropbox.com/u/1566495/Tin...ncher22b59.exe Thanks for your report. This version still crashes when scanning my 2nd level games. At 88%, 2688 games to a Gibs meditation.
I'm using KG + Retroplay packs on CWB lite. Anyone else using these? |

So the next one is the one that made it crash.
Can you look in your directory ? How many games are you scanning (in your directory) ? |

@gibs
I am happy to help Beta59: I have now tested this version on my games and demos, trying both 1-level and 2-level scannings. Everything is found correctly and even the Love demo works just fine now. @SuperNashwan I don't believe that the CW Lite package is the source of your problems. In my tests with the games, I am still missing some of the RetroPlay releases, and most non-english versions have been removed, so I probably have less games to scan than you. I have now made 2-level structure of my games and have been able to make Tiny Launcher crash if I put in some demos (that are scanned correctly in the demos), so I guess some kind of limit is reached. Tiny Launcher crashes with a "Illegal function call" message. I am now trying to track down where the limit is. I will write it here when I find it. |

I have set a limit of 2750 items/category some month ago there were less than 2750 games . I can expand but is it the reason of the crash ? Where can I download this retroplay collection ?
