Super Stardust & WHDLoad

Am I missing something obvious with the above?

It's all installed fine, but when I run the game it simply reboots back into Workbench after the WHDLoad splash shows info about the game.

I remember the original having an annoying reboot + slave disk because of memory limits, but am assuming WHDLoad is supposed to run it directly.

Cheers!

It is a version you installed yourself or did you get a pre-installed version?

@dlfrsilver

Not necessarily, I had a similar problem with Slam Tilt many moons ago and I have a legal key.

It was a preinstalled thing off some website.

As for WHDLoad, I don't remember in all honesty - it's been in my c: directory for probably ten years (it is however, a revision above what SS requires).

10 years, that must be an ancient version.
