Super Obliteration remake v1.0 released

Out now on my site - hopefully complete but if you have any problems or suggestions please get back to me.

It also has online scores so I want to see some of you up there.

If it turns out to be pretty solid and stable and no bugs show up then I will sort out a Linux and Mac build too.

Cheers.

Hip Hip Hooray!

I always loved Super Obliteration ever since I accidentally found it on an old CoverDisk! I especially liked the 2-player simutaneous mode! Does your version have the 2-players at once mode?

Ooops, it's one player only I'm afraid - I have no friends so didn't even consider a two player option.

Very impressive, congrats. I was never a huge fan of Turrican mainly because I was useless at it, but the Pangified version was great. I'd definitely appreciate a Mac version.

Cheers mate. I can't believe that someone (called "The Fear") has been playing it so much and got to something like level 22 already.

He is completely taking over the online scoreboard and needs some competition.

Tell me when you have completed coding multiplayer mode. Then we will have a Super-Obliteration Party at my house!

Not mentioned it so just to let people know that a Mac OSX version is now on my site too.

That TheFear guy actually finished the game so at least I know it is possible.

What about an Amiga-Version with gfx-card support?
Any chance?

The Amiga already has a version, that's what I remade it from.

Wanted to get it to a wider audience, and maybe bring people back to when it came from...

Did you finish the 2-player simultaneous feature yet? Or is the Amiga 500 version still better?

If you mean one person controlling the movement and one person controlling the firing then you can already do it can't you?

Just give the keyboard to one person and the mouse to someone else?

BTW the site has changed (to Wordpress) and the new location of the game is here:-
