Translating German Amiga games?

So my girlfriend is a professional translator/interpreter (German/English/Spanish) and I showed her a few games I enjoyed back in my youth, like "Hexuma", "Drachen von Laas" and "Stundenglas" – basically all text-adventures. And because she's the type of person who always want to work on her skills, she offered to fully translate those games.

Regardless of any actual interest, my question is: Is this technically feasible at all (with these games in particular)?

Feasible yes, though I don't know for these games in particular, but it requires some bit of effort so the most difficult is to find some coder who has the time to spend on this.
Some games have been (at least partially) translated already.

Some years ago I did a translation (ger to eng) of the game "Death Or Glory" for Don_Adan (who is a user here) but the result wasn't good enough for a release. If your girlfriend is interested in correcting or doing a new translation for it you should contact Don_Adan and ask if he is still interested for it and release the game translated to the public. If I remember right I send Don_Adan all my text.

If you don't know the game: http://hol.abime.net/hol_search.php?...+glory&x=0&y=0

Thanks daxb for the tip, I contacted him about DoG.

And thank you, meynaf. Do you have any links to partially translated games? Maybe there are a few projects that deserve to be finished.

You could find a few links there but i don't know the status of these games :

Ambermoon english was missing a few texts but this one is complete now.

Of course there is always this one, which needs translation to german :

Original texts were in spanish only. French and english have been done (and perhaps need to be verified) but german and italian are still missing.

I'd like to add "The Big Deal" to the list of German games that need translation

The menu and introduction is in English but the gameplay is in German...At least the versions I've tried.
