Anyone with knowledge about teh Omnibus RTG card?

Hello all,

I recently received an Omnibus RTG bridgecard from an ebay auction. Looking at it, it became apparent that it had no VGA controller chip on it.

Doing a little reading up on the various websites, it appears that, when originally sold, it also shipped with a second, ISA card that had a couple of variations of the Tseng Labs ET 4000AX (or 4000W32) controller.

So, does anyone have any knowledge about this card? Since it didn't come with one, I'm wondering if it might work with any ISA VGA card that have the matching Tseng Labs chips on them.

Thanks for any help!

It seems as best I can recall, to allow the use of simple ISA cards (graphic, NIC, hard drive controllers) in an Amiga -- like an ISA Mediator. Obviously requires the software and was not popular.
