Sixth sense investigation AGA (hard disk)

There are 10 disks of a hard disk installable version in CAPS, but unfortunately it's the German version... Was anything similar ever made for the English one?

LOL

...same sort of reply to your "Flink" thread

I have the AGA / AmigaCD / CD32 image somewhere and it's dual language

Problem is that I believe the it's still sold (info on other EAB thread) so I cannot upload

Not sure if the "AGA" version is English though?

Does it really? I just thought the screenshots were interesting, I know nothing about it... I'd still like to give it a try if I can get my hands on a version I can play in my CD-less Amiga.

Just watch my longplay movie.. or a bit of it.... or watch it if you get stuck... but it has terrible voice acting and stuff.

Sixth Sense Investigations is free downloadable since a few month. Get the German/English HDF versions here:

Freeware now eh? Surprised and chuffed to hear it (and also pleased that Amiga Arena is back online - man, I've been away from the scene for how long again? ).

I wonder if this means it'd be dandy for me to request kindly an ISO of the CD version around here? Normally I'd use the power of Google and my favourite torrent spots to ruddy well look out for a game (of any format) myself but it seems Sixth Sense Investigations (or at least the CD) isn't a popularly-uploaded piece around the web!

I did check the various Amiga Classix stuff but it seems they only used the floppy edition.

Only the Disk-Version are available on the legal pages.

For the CD-Version cant get a licence. Problems with the Audio-Tracks.

Ack. I always seem to trip on that buggersome "Version A is good to make into a law-abiding download, but not Version B" policy.

I've never understood why things can't be as simple as "Us, the company and liberating kind, declare that this game can now be downloaded by all, feel free to grab any version you like!"?

Particularly worrying that I can't seem to find any site that sells a copy of the CD version for less than a tenner, apart from that dodgy seller type with the CD-clenching hands on eBay who always prices whatever bootleg crap he can find at six quid a piece. Leaves one thinking why they should bother at all.

Unless you're referring to the German version - such a shame I'm sorely lacking in German tongue then.

I should point out that I e-mailed Vesalia yesterday about the game and am patiently waiting for their reply.

I just hope they're good with speedy correspondence, or indeed any correspondence.

UPDATE: Out of interest, I looked at the current TOSEC DATs for "Amiga CD Games" and while Sixth Sense Investigations is in the database, it has the "(DE)" flag in its name, which doesn't bode well.

If it turns out Vesalia sell a German-only version, I guess I'll have no choice but to risk it with Dodgy eBay Seller man, and just hope he doesn't plonk the floppy version onto a cheap CD-R, or something.

Nope. There are two different CD versions. One in German, one in English.

Well that settles it then. Vesalia are bugger all use to me!

Question guys: If you had to choose between getting the game from Softhut for £26 + £8 shipping, or getting it from some random Dodgy eBay Dealer for just £6, what would you choose?
