Wacuś The Detective
I would buy this game in its original box. http://hol.abime.net/3667
Does anyone know where? Does anyone in Poland? I do not find on ebay. By the way, the cover art of The Shield PC/PSX game is a lot like Wacus. |

Polish game releases had low quantity, there is no chance in any retro shop but you can try on allegro.pl To buy game you can contact polish EAB users, most of them have account there.

Thank s2325
I've looked at allegro.pl but there is nothing there. I wanted to start with a simple post, but will try to locate Polish users. We currently do not remember who is Polish. |

Once again thanks s2325.
By the way there is another game of 2012, this time from zx spectrum, which is also similar, and also detective this is very suspect. |

What do you mean, there's plenty of Wacuśes...
On a serious note, I was one of those few people who bought the game when it came out, few years later supplied the WHDLoad team with it's dumps, but have no idea where my physical copy is now. The box was probably lost or destroyed during house cleaning, don't know if the disks would still work if I could find them in my old disk-boxes and I don't have a floppy drive to check. The only thing I have is the manual, stuck in my great book of tips & tricks & stuff I keep since 1994 |

Ohhh! Please try to search it. If you let at a reasonable price and want to sell it I will buy it. While I will try to continue contacting someone. As lesser evil perhaps might be interested to the discs and manual. |

Just discovered this game and having some problems with the WHDload version on WHDownload.com
On the Intro screen the game crashes and complains about an Autovector problem. If I use Noautovec tool type game freezes on intro screen. Does this game require 68060 to play? The first two screens mention 68060 CPU. I'm using A1200 with fast ram. |

No, you don't need a 060. It's a joke, you know "Intel inside". But i get the same Autovec error in UAE and real hardware too. Looks like we need a slave update. Retroplay already did a bug report last year.

Yes, screen with CPU is hardware detection, not requirements.

You mean that one with white background? http://hol.abime.net/3667/screenshot It should detect CPU, chip RAM and some expansion (fast RAM?) May be buggy application or some emulation problem.

Oh, I thought someone was going to say "vitux, I have the original Wacus for you"
Receive response PPA.PL administrator, told me that would give me an answer after Christmas, but still have not told me anything. I guess it's impossible. Put NOVBRMOVE. It seems works fine for me on 17.2 whd |

WHDLoad 16.9 properly runs this game. There is a crash with 17.x and the slave update is needed in order to have it working. Last edited by prowler; 11 March 2014 at 20:57. Reason: Back-to-back posts merged. |
