Do you mean a turrican-style game on Amiga or on PC/mobile? I would say the first one definitely - actually both so you can recover development expenses

It must be done !!!
It will be done !!!!
But how ??? It must come from his creator manfred trenz and the music from chris huelsbeck.
A new turrican 4 with a pack of history with older turricans with orchestral music, a kind of museum.
But please not a bad turrican HD with just scanlines or worst with bad redone gfx.
But i think they will done their best really!!
Manfred Trenz and Chris Huelsbeck are creators with passion in their hearts,
Turrican and his music is like their baby, they will surely try to make a big return for turrican or they won't release. like they did for turrican 3d, it wasn't good, they cancel it.

PLEASE DO IT
PLEASE DO IT
BUT A GOOD ONE

Good enough to relaunch a new trilogy, i know this is pressure but you know well with this kind of iconic game you have to go high, if not everybody will be disappointed, but you this.

ps:I'm sure you are doing it.
I hope it's enough for you to feel how much i want the turrican return !
I hope they will succeed more than ever.

Why not a turrican which run on uae to make it run on everything, they can even hide winuae if it's ok with toni.

IMO, my ideal Turrican 4 would have 90's cartoon style animated cutscenes, a soundtrack by both Chris Huelsbeck and Vince DiCola, the mechanics of Turrican 2 mixed with Turrican 3 and some new stuff, such as being able to switch fire modes and being able to unlock different characters. In addition, after beating the main campaign you'll unlock a museum where you can play the original Turrican trilogy and check out development bits such as interviews and concept art. It helps if there's merchandising such as action figures.

But do you want to know one reason why I'd like a new Turrican game?

It makes it more possible for this to happen...

(a buddy on Discord made this pic for me from a request)

That was an idea i had on the past to spread amiga games to non-amigans: encapsulate the emulator+game together, however i know there might be licensing issues due to the GPL used for WinUAE

I voted for No. Factor 5 is no more and without them anything "Turrican like" would not be genuine for me.

It's a no for me, but I'll say yes to any 2D Turrican-like game for any non-mobile platform. Especially if Chris Huelsbeck can be persuaded to do the soundtrack.

What I really would like to have is the uncut version of Super Turrican, that has been bundled as an exclusive game to Super NT console.

I like Super Turrican for SNES, but is short. I do not like Super Turrican 2, though.

Like Shadow of the Beast, Turrican is part of the history of the Amiga.

I would say "yes" for a new episode if it keeps the spirit and the "feeling touch" of its predecessor.
Something in the same vein as EON is for SotB (you should give a try to the PC demo if not already done ).

I would say "no" for a new episode if it's done like SotB reboot (even if the gfx are really good).

Maybe I'm slightly biased, but I voted* "yes".

* based on the assumption that it would be designed by Manfred Trenz and with music written by no other than Chris Huelsbeck though... and that it would be a true sequel in 2D / side view scrolling

Any new Turrican as long as not 'mobile only' is a yes from me.

I don't care about mobile games...

Or maybe a "turrican-ish" game with similar dynamics but different story/environments so to keep it fresh

This is more a disppointment. The "uncut" version isn't complete. Eggebrecht promised way too much back then. They only released what they had, nothing more. Like a rough prototype.

I had a discussion about it with chris huelsbeck and for what i remember, he would be more than happy to make musics for turrican.
Don't ask me when it was and what he told me exactly, i don't remember exactly.
But it was more or less that he will be happy to do it, it could have change, i don't know.
Turrican without chris wouldn't be turrican.

I actually tried writing a Turrican cartoon once, didn't get very far tho. I'll post the scripts, bibles, and maybe some of the concept drawings when I have time.

Ok but manfred bought back turrican or am i wrong ???
I would like for sure to see factor 5 on it.
Do we know where are the factors 5 artists coders, etc ???
Is it possible they are making a new team under manfred and ready to fire ??
If manfred has it, he has to make a good team with the maximum of guys from factor 5 + Chris Huelsbeck.

ps dream on : an amiga mini with turrican 4 in it !!! ++++ the amiga mini= vampire stand alone !!! dream off.
edited : better : 2 amiga mini : 1 amiga 1200 vanilla+some fast ram+ games (emulation or lower price fpga) and a vampire 4+games + possibility to surf on the net + amiga best tools+amikit+wb3.1 etc... The question where is the money to do it ?? I don't know !!

Last thing I heard is that some of them, including Eggebrecht, work at Epic now. Yes, that Epic.
