Workbench Screen resolution

Using FS-UAE , I selected new configuration, Amiga 4000 ,installed OS 3.9 and a folder for Hard Drive installed or WHD installed games. Although everything worked fine , I was wondering why I have very few options for Workbench screen resolution in Prefs, Screenmode. My monitor and graphics card are capable of 1920x1080 resolution. I cant even select 800x600. did I install it wrong or do I need to install something additional.

By the way FS-UAE is very cool , I like it a lot

Been too long since I owned a real Amiga I had forgotten about installing picasso96.
Thanks for your quick reply. Although it does not go up to 1920x1080 like AmigaSYS or Amikit, I never wanted to go that high anyway. Running at 960x540 looks good for my eyesight. Anything higher is too small.
Thanks again ....Dan

You have also select Picasso96 Support in FS-UAE Launcher to activate the RTG Board

Yes I did that, but without installing picasso96 there was nothing to be supported

Yeah, the answer is picasso96. Too much high resolution is bad as you put. I mostly have problem with games not being able to centralize their screen on the UAE window. Is there any solution to that! Also, is it possible to make the system use other kickstarts without the WHDload package? I would also appreciate if someone gave me names of software for workbench improvement (mouse scroll or right click, drawers, .....). Regards

The default auto zoom setting should center most games, but not all (some games need additional hints). When you use the online game database, some games which need it will also be pre-configured with better centering/scaling.

You can specify the kickstart in FS-UAE Launcher (under one of the tabs).
