I have to admit, a nice job on the soldering and a good overall approach to a simple job.

If only he spent a just a smidge more time on the hole at the rear... that indeed could of been drastically improved with just a smidge of filing from a rounded file.

still it just goes to show how easy they are to mod.

Another reason to be glad to live here in Europe.. Our LCD TVs have RGB SCART inputs!

Oh well, he seemed happy, I wouldn't be.

I just bought an LG LCD TV/monitor combo and that even takes in the Amiga 15 kHz signal through the VGA port using the beloved silver adapter.. Can't get much better than that.

I did the same thing to my A1200. The s-video port is mounted to the removable back plate cover (where the scsi connector is usually installed on some accelerators). To make the case original I need only replace the cover.

@mykrowyre:

Forgive my ignorance, I'd be very keen to do an internal s-video for my A1200.
Is yours a 'home-brew' or 'manufactured' add-on?

Either way I'd be keen on some details, thanks.

That's most generous - Thank you very much!
If there are any spares I'd be most interested in one.
