I didn't This bug got introduced when I moved the trainer offsets from the Patchlist to "standard code" to make them selectable with the CUSTOMxx tooltypes. Note to self: Next time just copy/paste. :P

Anyway, I'll create the install package now, thanks for all your testing.

Could be true. I find it unplayable without the energy trainer. Never tried the disk version.

Before posting such things you should check the original game on an A500. It behaves exactly the same!

It indeed is, it was the reason why it got pretty bad reviews back in the day. (Excerpt from the PowerPlay Review (46%): "Die Zaubersprüche schläfern sogar den neugierigsten Spieler ein: Nur wenig Motivation entsteht, sich durch die unfairen Situationen zu hexen.")

Yeah, i know these review. This game had potential, but the programmer couldn't find a good balance. Too hard, too boring. Every level is a carbon copy of the level before, only the graphic differs.

Edit: And once again highly overrated by some mags. 86% from "Joystick"... no comment.

Yeah, it could have been a nice game if it wouldn't be so unfair and the levels less boring. I guess good old Lord Blitter made it that hard/unfair to disguise the fact that the levels are all very boring. Final verdict: A lot of wasted potential

more than anything, it showed that Rastan was indeed perfectly possible on the Amiga, shame Lord Blitter wasted his talent on this shite fest of a game.

The installer for this game is now available on the WHDLoad page. Another one bites the dust.

I admit I had a look at it as I was asked by Dlfrsilver to check the game. But don't worry, won't steal it from you! Should you ever get bored with it let me know though.

I've tested first slave only, so far so good but there is strange problem probabaly in game itself. Sometimes when I hit in the air main character it hangs for while in air and I cannot move or even fall for some time. I don't remember if this was in disk version also.

Non!

As with Death Trap, I got quite a bit further than simply thinking about doing them.

Just to avoid any misunderstanding, I do not plan to do any further work on Treasure Trap as I've already told you. It's Galahad's WIP slave and it's his decision when and how he'll finish it. And it's perfectly fine that way!

Don't worry, I don't intend to steal the slave from you! Doing the Death Trap slave was really something that wasn't planned at all (blame it on the "Cobra X-Rom" thingie :P) and I perfectly understand that you want to finish the Treasure Trap installer yourself. It would be the same for me. I do offer my help though, just in case you get stuck/bored. Not more, not less. =)

Please use the final released slave (can be found on the whdload site). Also, I doubt that this has anything to do with the slave itself, and I never experienced such problem myself. Just out of curiosity, what's your system config?
