1084s-D2 composite colour problem

Hi guys,

Searched high and low for a service manual for this monitor but had no luck... if anyone knows where to get it please let me know.

The problem I'm having is with the composite connection not displaying colour. I've connected an old Xbox and various other things to the composite connections and I get a black and white image... however if I cycle the power on the monitor off then on really quickly the colour will come back, only to disappear again if the screen is refreshed.

RGB is good and displays colour fine...

Problem is only with composite.

Hope someone can help!

cheers,

That's a 1084s-P1 not a D2

What's the chassis number?

P = Philips D = Daewoo

There may be some small differences in the circuit but not much methinks.
