For Sale: Gasteiner M1202 RAM/RTC A1200 expansion

Hi,

I am selling this RAM board, it has a 2MB SIMM on it (or a bigger one configured as 2, not sure, didn't test). The board also has a functional RTC, battery is still good. Optionally an FPU can be installed.

Brand is Gasteiner but apparently it's a relabelled Amitek. The card has a funky red PCB.

Some info about the board is on the Big Book of Amiga hardware:

Problem is I have no clue what this is worth so make me an offer. If you have nice stuff to trade let me know, but since I am very much new to the Amiga I am not really sure what I am looking for basically anything nice for an A1200 is worth considering...

If anyone's interested, I will ship throughout EU and accept Paypal.

I am relatively new to this forum so maybe some information is not available to me at this time.

Thanks again for sorting that out for me, Allen.

Look under his name by the side of his post

"Location: The Netherlands"

Or click on the "About Me" tab in his profile.

Hi there Graham, that option is only giving me access to a page with the following information:-

English Amiga Board Mobile

I can access the send a private message part and the "Home New Posts Today's posts UserCP" options but that's about all, I have just noticed the "MOBILE" part in the title, I bet that is why I can't find the Zone etc (I looked up SRAM cards earlier on through google and logged on here)

AH ha that was the problem, I didn't know there was a Mobile version too, I used my bookmark in Firefox and everything is back to normal, what a plonker for not realising earlier

Thanks for your replies, I will watch where google sends me next time

Ah that explains it then

I've never used the mobile version before so clearly some info is not available in that mode. On the 'normal' version of course you get all the information.

I never expected my laptop to access anything other than normal web pages, I have also recently visited or joined a few sites reading up on WHDLoad and CF hard drive installations etc and I must admit that I wasn't 100% sure if this was the right site where the Zone was etc.

Oh dear at least I will know the next time and I apologise for hijacking Voz79 post, one consolation is that the card he has on offer ranges from £20 to just under £40 (with extra memory options ie 2MB, 4MB and 8MB sticks included and in excellent condition) as in a recent Ebay auction.
