"Programming the M68000" by Tim King and Brian Knight, Addison Wesley 1983

Hi All,

Posted to the zone.

Early work on 68000 programming from pre-Amiga days.

Quite thorough treatment of the subject, and doesn't avoid "hacky" techniques which would be frowned on these days.

Enjoy,

Red

Hi
to download the manual directly on the Amiga, I tried to browse with Aweb... but Login didn't work! (so no access to the Zone).
No problem for the file, I just downloaded from my Mac, but... I regret to be unable to visit Amiga's web site with Amiga browsers!

regards

Thank you, RedskullDC. Thats a nice manual you've got/found. Great By the way, I once downloaded a bunch of original Motorola 680x0 docs, I've already uploaded them once, but if you don't have them and want them, I can reupload them for you.

Are you serious? Boy, they really need to fix that somehow. An amiga board you can't browse properly with amiga browsers

I downloaded the PDF just out of curiosity and even though i have no idea, its an interesting read .. Gives you new appreciation for the talent of Amiga coders over the years.

just use IBrowse dammit ! aweb is horribly old, if they made the site aweb compatible we would lose a lot of functionality.

Gotta love statements like this in the introduction: "The
68000 allows jumps up to 32768 bytes away, which will be adequate for virtually any
program."

Been away for a week or so with work, so not much time for miggy related stuff lately

Next on the list are:

68020 - Programming by Example (Stan Kelly-Bootle, Addison Wesley)
600+ pages

and
68030 Assembly Language Ref. (Steve Williams, Addison Wesley)
750+ pages

These will take a little bit longer to OCR and proofread methinks

Stay tuned...

Any in particular you had in mind?

Most of the good ones already seem to be scanned and on the Internet from what I have seen. Probably have most of them.

If you haven't seen them:
Good collection of Amiga related mags at:
http://www.racevb6.com/acar/
(Most were from my collection)
