It is a hard drive in a BOX portable, convenient because I can start AROS on any PC and use the partition FAT32 for data exchange AROS/Win, you can also use the file system NTFS, but still not perfect.
However you can also use PenDrive the installation shown in the video is the same. [ Show youtube player ] |

So here is the official release
EmuLa v1.7 build 34 is available! EmuLa web page If you are coming from a previous release hit the [UPDATE] button to get the latest version If you install this version hit [UPDATE] to get the last minute change that allow you to run Genesis games (Thanks to Yannick for his work on it). Change Log:
Note about DGen : I've added support for DGen so that AROS users can run Genesis roms using it, right now EmuLa will execute DGen setting the scaling mode to x2 both in fullscreen and windowed mode. In the next version the fullscreen mode will be fully supported so that EmuLa will be able to calculate the scaling factor needed to cover the screen area, also the "stretch" preference will be respected. EmuLa will decompress zipped roms on its own to avoid user panic with gzip and bzip2 paths. Last edited by AMIGASYSTEM; 23 April 2017 at 23:52. |

Icaros Desktop 2.2 X-Mas Special Preview with Final Writer
Icaros Desktop 2.2 X-Mas Special Preview with Final Writer (Demo) Icaros Desktop Light 2.2 Xmas 2016 Preview Download Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone! Icaros Desktop is proud to announce the immediate availability of Icaros Desktop 2.2 X-Mas Special Edition, a brand new version of your favourite AROS distribution, based on the latest AROS core files. Although this isn't the final 2.2 release of Icaros Desktop, it already brings most of its new features, including the ability to run native (as usual), hosted on Linux (which has been already anticipated) and... even on Windows (surprise!). Yes, you don't need to complicate your life with virtual machines anymore: if you wish to test Icaros on your PC, you just need to run the installer script compatible with your current OS (no, Android and MacOS X aren't supported. Nor FreeBSD and Haiku, I'm sorry...), follow some very basic configuration steps, and your hosted Icaros environment will be ready to run like any other application! Obviously, there are some shortcomings here and there (Windows hosted version of AROS is highly experimental, you're warned), but people that still wish to make the most of Icaros Desktop can still install it on real hardware or a suitable virtual machine. And that's not the only Christmas gift: in the Utilities drawer you will find an amazing demo version of Final Writer, brought to x86 AROS by T. Deters, Kalamatee and Deadwood. This demo is fully functional, except for saving: you can open and edit documents, but you can't save them. So... what are you waiting for? Head to our download page and grab your brand new special edition of Icaros Desktop, while it's hot. News source By Paolone Last edited by AMIGASYSTEM; 18 January 2017 at 09:44. |
