shadow of the beast I II III mods

I have a hankering to listen to the Shadow of the Beast soundtracks. Anyone know where I can get them?

Yes here : http://www.exotica.org.uk/wiki/UnExo...mes_By_Title/S
You need a player that can play these formats though.
Have fun!

Edit : I think this player could handle .dw files : Multiplayer
Haven't tested it yet.

http://www.deliplayer.com

Remember to press "+" on the keypad to change subsong (or you'll miss loads)

@ alexh

I remember being able to use Winamp to play .mod files. I'm going to test this out and report back. Of course if you feel like doing this as well, try it out.

@boing_1000
Beast Ii & III have mods that you can play with Winamp, but Beast I is David Whittaker's format. Deliplayer 2 just works fine with .dw files. I just thought you could give the new player a try

EDIT: might as well just append to here:

Is there an executable downloadable for WinAmp ("latest version" = 5.531) where you can just double-click on it, and it creates the plug-in so you can play most if not all Amiga music modules like mod, and unusuals?

I like Deliplayer that plays MOST out of LHA without problems, but I want to play lots of formats like Megadrive etc.
For e.g., there's a good one for that one and it plays "perfect", called "in_VGM035.exe" (.vgz format).

Tried one for the Amiga a while back, and it crashed WinAmp. Can't remember the name, but it eff'd it all up and i had to reinstall WinAmp etc. Got the idea from EAB member here, after a search...

and no I don't want some bloated GFX interface I have WinAmp installed as "Lite" and it is STILL 10 mb. plus, ever cleaned your registry after an un-install? there's like 200 entries that aren't removed.

(this stuff is so bad like it is, with all the shit you have to uncheck as you install.)

So I want to keep it all simple, all in WinAmp lite(if possible/recommended).

appreciate any help. Thanx.

Hi oneshotdead,

unfortunately I don't know of such a plugin for WinAmp, but do you remember what the name of the one you tried was? I would like to test if there is a way to get it working with WinAmp. You could also test the windows port of UADE which is really good.

BASS Module Player - BASS Module Player 2.3.1

http://www.winamp.com/plugins/details/132367

I tried again, and it / I oneshitdead'd WinAmp.

It has an interface, anyway... I don't want an interface.

I'll stick with DeliPlayer for all Amiga mods / more exotic formats.

Yeah do it! I'll use DeliPlayer and UADE all the time. The plugin supported files that are already played with 'vanilla' WinAmp (MOD, XM) and there not so many S3M and IT mods out there. Maybe the BASS Module Player was devloped for a really old version so it crashes WinAmp.

Yah, I've always "done it" - that is, always used Deliplayer.
I just wanted to try an "all-in-one" solution, 'cos loading up different players for different formats sucks a bit...

Silly me!

Both the author of that Atari ST demo (MugUK - Mike Mee) (which is playing an Amiga .Mod file) and the author of the Mod (ColdStorage aka Tim Wright) are both still active.

Email them or find them on facebook.

Here is the archive on Exotica

I found another two YouTube videos (but I have no headphones here at work)
