But that would mean more work for the mods. Maybe you can just say why you want animated gifs in your sig DH.

OK, OK. Is that a little better. I forgot to delete some stuff off it when I changed it this afternoon Anyway, it's up to you if you want to see the crap in my sig, and it's up to me what crap I put into it

Something like this, although this is probably not a very good example as it didn't quite turn out to be what I expected

The image is too big and I should of resized it to an appropriate size. Judging by the example I have shown, I now realise it was a stupid and ridiculous idea in he first place, it could work, but not with something as s@#te as that.

btw. The Fairlight logo is OK, it's what I've done to it that's fecking stupid and ridiculous.

Yes, that is a little better. Given EAB's love of rules and enforcing them, I'm surprised there isn't one about the size of signatures (or double posting but that's another mess altogether).

Not exactly. It's up to a user if they want to sell all sigs or no sigs. For what it's worth, animated avatars are verboten although I suppose that's slightly different as there is no way for a user to disable them.

You can disable avatars, if you want in your User CP.

You can disable avatars and images too, so it's not different to animated avatars.

Anyway, I now think the idea sucks, since I've tried it + someone's bound to overstep the mark and put something hideously stupid into it.

Animated avatars are dogshit.

As a human I generally associate a picture (face) to a person's name rather than look at the actual name of the poster, I do not want avatars which are all flashy rubbish because I'll turn them off and then rant about it for about 6 years.

Nobody wants that.

Well if I'm honest I don't think I'll make 6 years.

I'll probably just not bother coming here again and do something else...

@xpect
Exactly! I know that DH only wants to have a bit more possibility to express himself, but like he said someone will exploit it. Maybe the height of the sig picture can be increased though...

Mine is 20 and yours only 15... pixels high
I think something like 40 would be a nice consolation for DH
