THE DREAM OF ROWAN. A brand new game for Amiga 68k

WELCOME TO THE PROJECT: "THE DREAM OF ROWAN".
A NEW GAME FOR AMIGA CLASSIC !!

Hello EAB Family here I´M present our KICKSTARTER Campain. Please back us now and make this happen!!!

our Team is 5 persons at the moment and we are working hard to bring a new Game for Amiga Classic in October 2016.

We hope your suggestions and opinions about this game, but LOT of things to do!!. Remember still is too early until it is done. A brand new videogame for the COMMODORE AMIGA computer: OCS/ECS 2Mb CHIP Ram & 68030 also may work in a Stock A1200 Ec020 we are working for that too. Created in AMOS Professional and specifically in AMAL (Animation Language), running at 50fps.

Mixing traditional pixel art with modern technology.

Here is a new Jump&Run style game for Amiga 68k, and It will be done around October 2016!!!

Optional languages: English and Spanish.

Here is the links for the Kickstarter campain and other links.

Please Help us to make this happen.!

all the best and Amiga4Forever.

Okay, I am in. I hope you will accept suggestions during the game development. The first one is just to re-work jumping routine.

Cool ! Some backgrounds and sprites look really impressive.
But now is not the best time for the campaign. On the plus side, the amount is not huge by any means.
Still, three months would escape the holidays zone. Is it possible to change the duration of the campaign on the fly ?

Just one question:

Will the game feature scrolling on all levels?

You never managed to finish or release any of your "projects" before ("X-Wars"? "RUN PUFF"? "Amivania"? "Parallel Worlds"?) yet suddenly you will finish this one if you get 4000 Euros?

Your "budget breakdown" is just a 3D rendered pie chart with no actual data on it. Your "timetable" has no times on it. The text on the kickstarter page is awfully hard to read which won't help your campaign.
You fail to address why anyone should contribute to it. Just because it's an Amiga game? Unfortunately, that seems to work in this community that supports pretty much anything.

A lot of people in this scene have managed to produce and release professional level software for years and in many cases absolutely for free. If you want people to give you money you should up your game and do things professionally. Look at viddi's projects as a good example on how to release a home made game independently. Even though I don't like Backbone I respect his hard work on his games and his support is well deserved (and he has a track record of actually releasing stuff).
