A 40pin IDE version would be ideal for something like Amy-ITX assuming it ever makes it into wider production (fingers crossed!), either way options are always nice.

Awesome,

I have submitted the new A2000 friendly A508 IDE boards so hopefully in 2 weeks should have something good to show

Thanks Brian, thats awesome.
Thanks to you my TF530 boards work beautifully in my A2000. Question on the A2000 adapter - why does A21 go to A22 and A22 to A21?

Hi,

I used the schematics on amigawiki.de. The board has been tested with a504/a508 and vampires so it all appears good. On the amiga wiki you can see the order goes a20, a22 and a21

Brian, yes, it works 100% spot on, was just a little perplexed as to why the adaptor made that change thats all. Thanks mate for all that you do, I know I am only one person but I'm one very appreciative person.

Here are some pics of the new board, i just added 4mb for initial testing, testing still continues but RAM and CF card is working...

I will make another today for testing the 40/44pin ide., the new board easily fits inside the case now and doesn't hinder closing

Hi All,

Sorry, have not been here for a week, have been really sick this last week with flu or something, worst i been for years upchucking (and other things). I will start lookin at msgs tomorrow. Here is a pic of the new A2000 fastmem board, i tested it for the 44 pin and CF header and all looks good.

So board will be available with EITHER!! IDE headers OR! CF header. but i have too much on plate this week so not too much will be happening.

and supersize

I think the IDE headers provide a better solution in the A2000.
How come you haven't combined the two CPLD's wouldn't that have saved you more board space?

Would it be possible to change the CPLD code to keep 4MB as Z2 Ram and to place 1.5MB of the other ram as slow ram like how them 9.5MB boards work for the A600?

I would be interested in one. Is there a waiting list I can register on?

The Vampire 500 will also fit into this slot for easy use. When you get this made please make sure that the board house add the 30 degree bevel to the fingers which will prevent damage to the Co pro slot. (pcbway.com). Most board houses do not add this bevel, if it is not done by the board house please add it yourself by filing the edge. The CD32 boards had issues pushing the pins back due to this issue

here are the V.95 CoPro Gerber files.

The Int7 circuit use 3 diodes and the capacitors are a 0.1uf cap. The a600 Int7 circuit can be used with the V600 if the option is added to the vampire core. Resistor can use small value 100ohms

This board can be sold freely by others providing a simple acknowledement of the author (me) is stated in the ad.

Just realized, i need to post a pic, i will update in a bit

Hi Kipper2k, what did you use to generate the Gerber files? I cannot load them to my Altium Designer, there must be some compatibility issue. Would you share the schematic for this converter? I would want to know how to connect an TF530 to the coprocessor slot (I'm thinking of designing my own board).

All the information you need is in the A2000 schematic over at http://www.amigawiki.de/doku.php?id=...ice:schematics

that would be great, we can use Brian's MEM expansions with TF530 then, since Stephen has fixed Zorro ll bug now. I am sure it will work in an A2000 just fine

Would you be so kind and share the schematics of the adapter? I would like to make an TF530 card for the A2000 Co-processor slot and although the pinout of the card, as well as the MC68k CPU pinour are well known I would like to have a 'proven working' reference project, when starting to do my project.

I wanted to send this in an private message, but Kipper2k has full mailbox

Hi!
Sorry for the necropost, but I'm currently searching for a pcb that would allow 'relocation' of 68k CPU slot to the sideport of A500 (CF card easier access, possibility to 'sandwich' expansions, better cooling, putting shield back on etc.) and I was thinking if this A2000 relocator can be slightly amended for that purpose? Soldering the connector, of course (would that need a change in the edge joints? I'm literally illiterate when it comes to PCB design :/ )
There are 4 signals that are different, and the CPU slot would need to be twisted 90* so that the expansion cards are turned to the back of A500 instead of to the right.
I thought of the OVR and INT2 signals better access, and maybe there are some others that could be taken out of the sideport?
Would there be a need to add any logic/resistors/whatever, or could this be a simple riser/shunt with the signals simply taken from a different place? And where would the CPU need to go - inside or outside?

Like a variation of this?
