What do you think about games from Poland?

From 1994 - 1996 a lot of quality stuff came from Poland. And some of thoose games i realy like. Here are my top polish games.

DOMAN / Huuuh yeah what a dark atmospheric bloddy game. But sometimes the GFX looked like a 5 year old child had painted em.

THE LAST SOLDIER
Great atmosphere too. And very complex, and fun for hours.

FRANKO
Rotten ! But i love it. But GFX looked like pen and paper made.

I think that thoose games were only sold in Poland. But how expensive were thoose titles?

Some more great titles.

THX to WANTED TEAM for all the releases.

AND SORRY FOR MY BAD ENGLISH.

To say the thruth many Polish games can be called crap. But still there are good ones like Doman and Franko you mentioned or Funturatum, Kupiec, Legion, Lost in Mine, Pole Walki, Teenagent.

I depends on a game, but if you want to calculate it to euro then these games costed between 6 and 15 euro. But remember it was almost 10 years ago and only few % of games people played were originals. In fact there was no such thing as illegal software ;-)

If you're interested you can still buy Polish games on auctions.

Rajd Przez Polske (http://hol.abime.net/?id=2835) had some charm I think. Driving a Fiat 126 through Poland was quite fun for half an hour or so. However, it didn't beat Lotus in terms of playability.

Polish graficians in demo scene tended to be good, or very good. but these games have very horrible graphics. except that little platformer and the cardriving game.

anyway I must to confess that I didnt playd anyone.

Well, I think there is a lot of cool Polish games !!
Maybe technically they are not the best, but they are somehow enjoyable and some are quite worth playing.

I like the game Miecze Valdgira II, for instance. Unfortunately I haven't been able to complete it, yet, but I somebody from Poland told me he knows a solution from a Polish mag and maybe he will translate this for me )

Doman is also cool, but it gets quite difficult in this level where you fight standing in the water ( I couldn't make this so I gave up... )

I see that this is old thread, but one game comes to my mind is Citadel or Cytadela, a doom clone for Amiga 500. The game was kinda playable on stock 500 in very tiny window, but on my 1200 030 50Mhz it fly in full screen.

Not quite an Amiga classic game, but true to the question in the original post title:
I'd like the Witcher (2007) for PC very much!

Street Hassle was a good game. From the creators of Franko and Doman - basically you control a muscled guy named Piotrek whacking all kinds of old people.

Well, to me it always seemed like controlling a male stripper who beats the crap out of Andy Warhol look alikes.
