You need to burn bootable CDR - http://acdldp.emuunlim.com/bootablecdr.shtml

Someone has already made lots of CD32 compilation WHDload discs which will probably work on a KS3.1 A500+ with 2Mbyte Chip RAM + 2Mbyte A570 RAM (I think that is your configuration yeah?)

For making a disk that will boot on an A570, your going to need:-

1) A copy of MakeCD
2) The Amiga developer CD 3.1 (which includes the CDTV.TM trademark file). This trademark file is required to boot a disk on a CDTV or A570, and you must select the trademark file in MakeCD so it can create a bootable disk.

If you don't have an Amiga with a CD writer then you can easily run it under WinUAE and create a bootable disk that way. I've done this before and it works great.

You cannot use WHDload with KS1.3. You will need to upgrade your kickstart to KS3.1 v40.63. Perhaps install a kickstart switcher for backwards compatibility.

In addition, those WHDload compilation discs may have been mastered to boot only from CD32.

It should be easy task to re-master them with little (or no) changes to turn them into dual boot (CD32.TM & CDTV.TM) iso's which will run on kickstart upgraded CDTV & A570.

I like your link I THINK and I could be wrong most CD32 compilations of use AGS as the menu - that wont work on a non AGA machine

Also those compilations are well out of date and a lot of slaves have been updated and support extra buttons.

WHDload wont work with kickstart 1.3 -Today I made a tread about a early version of JST working on kick 1.3! but I had problems with tooltypes under kick 1.3 so not much if anything will run on 2mb

Ah, didn't know AGS was AGA only or that they used them... I'll have a look see if they really do use it.

If they do then tronko will have to re-master his own discs from scratch once he has KS3.1.

Do you have alternatives? At least they are better than no compilations at all.

Gary did do a OCS version of AGS so like you say remastering could be done.

This AMIGA CD32 Games Compilation Toolkit would be perfect for makeing a new compilation - makeing a basic one using this would only include moving WHDload games to correct folders and then burning - I cant belive no one has done it.

Ive been working on one for ages I dont want to use only WHDload also want to iinclude options of Running Cracktros before games as well as being able to turn on trainers/Custom tooltyes but probably never finish

The CD32.TM and CDTV.TM files are included in the CD32 Developer-Kit, which may be downloaded here:
