Pal and ntsc considerations
I'm working away at my game and I'm fast approaching level design. I'm thinking about making the game 320 X 256 screen size, is there any need to consider ntsc in 2014. Any thoughts?

You could compromise and use something a little smaller that will be overscan when in NTSC mode. I think the max NTSC size is around 242 or so. The difficulty in having two versions of course is that you have to figure out a way to make the movement code mostly independent of image building code so that the play speed is about the same. |

It depends if you are targeting modern Amiga machines or emulation vs. older systems.

IMHO the advantage of PAL is that you have more time to render your frame.
