Need help getting online please.

Hi all. Ive already got online on my A1200 using MiamiDX software and Netgear 802.11b pcmcia card. It was a majot pain but i managed to do it, back in 2011 i think. Anyway. Ive totally fogotten how to do it.

I want to get my vamp600 with running CoffinOS online. Is there any way I can just copy the settings over to the 600 or does everything have to be installed from scratch?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Just use ethernet card and use wifi bridge so you get Wi-Fi to Ethernet. Much simpler I use that on PS2 lol.

Personally given the complexity of setting up Wi-Fi and then issues with the type of encryption being supported, it would be easier and more secure to have an ethernet PCMCIA card. Then use a Wi-Fi bridge adaptor to give you Wi-Fi connection via the ethernet card.

Ethernet adaptors for Amiga are much cheaper than Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi bridge can be had for less than £10!

For the ethernet card, here is an example but I believe most 16 bit cards would work:

https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?m...2F163823850163

As for the the Wi-Fi bridge, this is an example of something like this:

https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?m...2F401767576473

And:

I'd get a PCMCIA card compatible with the prism2v2 driver.
