Floppy disk Latest Dumps

My Latest uploads are:

Cannon Fodder Plus
Mortal Kombat II
Aquatic Games
Back to the Future II
CJ's Elephant Antics
Fantasy World Dizzy
Little Puff in DragonLand
The NewZealand Story

They are all on the CAPS FTP server. Are these dumps ok? I have a feeling that NewZealand Story may be bad as it wouldn't load level 1-4 on my real Amiga. The other games should be fine I think. Any rarities in that little lot?

Cannon Fodder Plus: there is one bad track, likely due to recycled disk (unsold/bad disk reused by the duplicator service). Another track is unformatted.
Would be nice to test before release (that means I've read your request ) - if all the features can be properly tested, if not then an alternate dump is needed to verify. Oh, and don't forget to scan the disk

TNZS: 9 bad tracks

Rest is fine.
I think CJ and Little Puff haven't been dumped before.

Little Puff in Dragonland !!

Yes! Well done! This is one of the games I have been looking to re-buy for about 10 years, since I sold it (damn damn!) along with a few others I have not seen anywhere else yet.

Thanks!

One of the others that came to mind, with a very similar box is this:

Dungeons, Amethysts, Alchemists 'N' Everythin'
HOL Database (id=451)

Funny some of these games sell for more now, than the amount they retailed for originally... being budget and generally ignored on the miggy, unless you were a fan of the various series from other platforms, most notably the speccy.
Little Puff is cool.

Can you picture the success of Dizzy Vs Little Puff crossover?

Are there any Dizzy ports to the Xbox ? Maybe we can license it, i can take care of the GFX

I just don't know if the Xbox has enough horsepower to get that puppy going though

Erm... have you scanned the box and stuff before selling it...? It is not a very common game you see...

No.
On top of all that the guys £12.00 cheque cleared last week and the bank has sent me a letter saying there has been a problem with the cheque and the amount has been deducted from my account. I'm waiting to hear back from him. This is turning into the best week of my life! My stress levels are just about at maximum!

So to sum:
1, you sold a game that is fairly hard to find, since you did not know that
2, you sold it for gbp 1
3, you got a fake check for p&p and stuff
4, the bank deducted the check value from your account

Correct?
Certainly does not sound like the best week of your life...

Trust me you don't know the half of it. This little incident is just one small little fish in my huge lake of problems. Still I don't want to bring them to this forum so I'll shut-up now.

Yes, so far the only completely duplicated version! (ie no copied disks)
As for release you know how to make that happen...

ok, i think it will be done till friday...

but with the box i got a new problem...

the box is splitted into two parts...

the first cover is totally black and only the eyes of valdyn (the hero of the game) are cut away out of the box...

the second part of the box will be slipped into the first box (or cover) and the front there is the whole valdyn...

so when the two parts of the box are put together you will only see the eyes of valdyn...

how to scan that...???

i hope you understand what i mean...

Just scan them seperately, not together. IMO everything is needed for preservation purposes. I'm sure you can mark it like:
box_1_front.jpg
box_1_back.jpg
...
box_2_front.jpg
box_1_back.jpg
...

It's the same with my Evil Garden box. The outer box has a big picture. Inside is a smaller box with a smaller logo printed on it. No way I'd miss to scan one (if needed ?!?)

About the eyes: I see the problem. Is there any way to add transparency to JPEGS ? Would be needed for the first cover...

@x_to:
Could you please take a ruler and check the width of the manual ?
My manual is a little wider at the top.

@IFW or fiath:
Did someone take a look at my preliminary lionheart scans on the CAPS ftp ?
